Ecology and habitat surveys

Ecology Surveys

Arborhelp have the capability, experience and qualifications to undertake ecology surveys to satisfy planning requirements, or to meet BREEAM and CSH assessments.

Habitat Surveys

Habitat surveys come under a number of different names. Although these are all ecology surveys, the names of the assessments vary primarily due to different levels of survey effort and depth of detail in the reports. However, ecology surveys such as Extendend Phase 1 Habitat Surveys are designed to provide information on the risk of presence of protected, BAP or rare species and the likelihood of the development impacting on such species.

Based on the Phase 1 Habitat Survey, recommendations can be made for avoidance or precautionary measures and only if necessary the need for further ecology surveys, in order to design appropriate and proportionate compensation of habitats or mitigation.
